SEEKING ADVICE (long-time DUer needs guidance...quickly)

A long-time member of DU needs advice from someone who has been through a workers' comp settlement. Experience with Medical Set Aside. Already has attorney but wishes to speak to someone from their personal perspective.

This friend is in NC, so experience with disability within the state of North Carolina would be even more helpful.

If you have been through this and are willing to message/chat with her, please message me.

Thanks.

It took two years to go to court but my attorney did an unbelievable job for me.
I believe the most compelling thing my attorney did was to get expert witnesses from former W/C and SS experts that completely over shadowed the insurance reps.
Another thing you must be very conscious of is W/C will use any and all means to get unfaltering and incriminating photos or video. All of us no matter how injured, we have emergency and family situations require us to do thing that cause pain and injury. They capitalize on this and try to get film of you doing anything.
