things depression is: various piles of rotting laundry, over the counter and prescribed pain meds/sleep pills, excuses on why you have to cancel plans, extreme irritability, joint/muscle/back pain, headaches, not showering for 2 and a half weeks, forgetting to eat/not being able to stop
sleeping 2/3 hrs over 30 hrs, +/- 19 hrs of sleep
& for being to be unable to walk my dog. She deserves better.

(10,337 posts)Don't tell me about depression. I get it! One of my dogs died about two months ago and I still have not recovered but your doig feels it as much as you do. Walk your God damn dog! Your dog needs it as much as you do!

(34,252 posts)the kids across the street take her for a walk after school, and the we play/sit in the front yard for ~30 min. I do put her dogbed in front of the screen/glass door so she can watch her domain, it IS her street after 12 years.
And if I could walk w/o feeling my right thigh is being shredded by glass in front right thigh on almost every step I would walk her in the park of roses, daily. I miss walking my dog. I did get a red metallic walker, and I likely will hang streamers from the handles.

(2,331 posts)For an utterly insensitive, heartless person such as you. You obviously have no idea what depression entails. Nor do you care. Go on free republic, where you will find like minded people.

(15,684 posts)But so do you, irisblue. Don't let anyone shame you or make you feel badly about yourself. Depression is a horrible illness. From blue to the darkest black, it incapacitates and terrifies.
I don't have answers, but I do have a lot of understanding and empathy. I hope you feel better as soon as possible.
