Cataract aftermath?

I had both eyes operated on three years ago.

In recent weeks I have been feeling as if I need one, again. Zoomed in while in front of the computer, using a magnifying glass to help reading and all of a sudden not being able to read road signs and street names. Was not bad as I am familiar with the trips I was taken.

So I saw the eye doctor and was relieved that she knew what was the problem and that it was fixable. Sometimes after cataract surgeries - can be two months or two year - a new cloud develops behind the lens and it can be fixed via laser surgery. Easier than the cataract itself and recovery. The only problem these days, is with their scheduling but this is OK. I am not going anyplace and spouse is here to drive if needed.

Spouse was waiting for me while I was seeing the doctor. Really did not want to drive with the addition of dilated pupils. And, spouse said, all the receptionist were doing was calling patients to cancel appointments. The doctors were viewing the list of appointments and decided who could be postponed and who could be seen.

Glad I "passed."
