New high in daily new cases in US, 61,000+

Day is not over yet, will increase. Deaths also increased.

How can we reopen schools? If restaurants, bars, beaches opening too early caused spikes, what will opening schools do?

On a more serious note, why are hospitals doing chest x-rays on people asymptomatic? It just seems odd.

Even in normal times, I can't imagine hospitals just doing chest x-rays willy-nilly. Perhaps they're doing them on those testing positive precisely because of the nasty lung involvement. But still.
