May need er

As many know, I've had 25 days of abdominal pain, stomach rumbling, groin pain. I've seen 2 Drs. I should have insisted on xrays from the first dr. She checked my urine. Otherwise was blase.

I drank a bunch of kefir, and my stomach is growling. I took an Aleve for the pain. Xrays monday. GI dr the 11th. I can't stand this anymore. I'm sorry i drank the kefir. I'm so worried. Its wearing me down.

...until one night it suddenly became unbearable. I ended up in the ER, then immediately onto emergency surgery to have my severely damaged Gall Bladder removed.

Everything has been fine since then but the surgeon told me it was a very serious situation, and the pain those last few hours was horrible, I had passed out from the pain before they took me out of the emergency room (at least I blacked out because I only remember up to a certain point) and I think that was the only reason they took me seriously.

Are you pooping normally? If not, go to the ER now.

My mother had pains that sound like yours & the doctor (not her usual one) blew her off & scheduled an ultrasound sound first a week later. My sister-in-law took her from the clinic to the ER. As luck would have it her primary had hospital duty that week & was not happy when he saw her condition.

Turned out she has a major obstruction. She was in surgery by 7 pm and, per thr surgeon, it was in the nick of time.

My reg Dr had me on miralax 6 days bc he thought it was constipation. I emailed him that the pain is continuing, despite the bowel cleanse.

It’s probably nothing serious but it’s better to find out. Sending you good vibes and hugs because medical problems suck!
