Now what? Severe neck pain

Still awaiting HIDA scan schedule from hospital. Now having what feels like severe whip lash back off neck. I cannot stand one more thing. Aleve and heating pad. Used to have good health. Feel like I'm falling apart

times got physical therapy. The last time with nerve issues, it took quite a few weeks 2X per week but it went away for 4 years. This time, they said it was a really big knot in my upper back. PT and heat are doing wonders and I just started.

Desiccated discs. Dehydration of discs between vertebrae, in other words. Been playing phone tag with my doctor, trying to find out what course of treatment he recommends.

MRI revealed three herniated discs. She has been in constant pain for about a year. A few months ago she began experiencing numbness in her shoulder and on one side of her face. First doctor tried PT, an ablation, pain meds and muscle relaxers to no avail. The pills gave marginal relief, but those and the Aleve have messed with her stomach so she also takes Pepcid AC. He kept scheduling her for steroid shots but then kept rescheduling due to staffing issues- They really jacked with her big-time, as she would schedule time off to have the procedure only to have them call and say they needed to move it. Finally, last Tuesday I took her in to a new doctor who gave her a series of steroid shots in her neck and found bone spurs in the process. She has yet to feel the results, but I keep reminding her that it can take a few days for it to work. I hope you find relief soon!
