Got a "severely abnormal" mole and borders removed surgically yesterday. About eight stitches.
Here's my new regimen for the next 10 days:
Change the bandage twice a day.
Cleanse with hydrogen peroxide.
Apply antibiotic cream to wound.
Re-apply gauze and paper tape.
Wind with ACE bandage.
Take antibiotic pill.
So far, so good.

...for bad stuff to get into your body and your bloodstream. Better to guard the gate well while it's open than to try to deal with the invaders once they've set up shop in your bod. Good luck and hope it heals nicely.
