Related: About this forumI went for the trifecta, COVID, flu and RSV vax all at once. We'll see how I feel later. Not too bad so far.
The pharmacist tech that fired me up said her whole family had it recently. I'm in Lower Dumbfuckistan (Idaho). It's bad here and usually we lag behind the rest of the country in surges.

(90,749 posts)Keep the muscles flexing so the stuff distributes faster, that's what usually causes the arm pain. I found that moving around and doing fast rubs helps avoid that pain.

(10,406 posts)The flu was a strong one for seniors.
We never stopped the mask protocol.
In spite of that, I'd had Covid four times.
Wife & daughter got Covid a few weeks later.
Then me.
They recovered.
Mine turned into a 12 week cough/pneumonia (not positive how related it was to Covid but docs think so)
As that subsided, it spun off into an arthritic attack on my joints (again, not positive how related it was to Covid but docs think so)
That subsided in July
Came back some in August
All kinds of diets, supplements and meds were tried. Some helped.
All blood tests now normal about a year after I began the vaccinations.
I was able to do some things so it wasn't a completely lost year.

(17,188 posts)they agreed to give me 2 (my choice) and come back after 2 weeks for the third. I took the RSV and COVID booster - I'll get the Flu one later this month.
One arm was sorer than the other (COVID arm) but nothing that was a problem - probably no worse than before.
Good luck!
