Space Force: Season 2 - Official Trailer - Netflix

I thought season one was freakin hysterical, I loved it. I told all kinds of people to go watch it and... Not very many liked it, so I'm not sure what that tell you. I'll definitely be watching it though.

But seriously, is the Space Force really an actual armed force, this vanity creation of trump? I mean doesn't it still report to the Air Force?

Both report to the Secretary of the Air Force.

It's principle mission is eye in the sky, surveillance.

If we ever have a military manned space platform, it'll no doubt man and command it.

Sounds so redundant, trump's vanity creation. Didn't the Air Force do that before?

The Air Force has always reported to SecAF. That's why there is a SecAF. Until 1947 there was no US Air Force, just air components of the Army and Navy.

A vanity project. It easily could have been an AF Major Air Command and evolved as the AF did within the Army until need and technology required a separate branch.
