Season 3 of "Derry Girls" is now on Netflix!
If you missed it, it's one the the most charming and offbeat shows I've seen in ages. Be sure to check it out! I know what I'm binging this weekend!!!

(34,368 posts)until I saw them on one of the Holiday British Baking shows and they were so charming and funny that I promised myself I would find their show. I watched one I think and have not been back, I need closed caption because I do not hear well and boy do they talk fast! Even then it was hard. I will give them more tries because I was enchanted by them. Adorable personalities and the male cast member was there too. If you have not seen it and you love the show I suggest you try to look it up. Adorable.

Such a fun show!

(1,873 posts)I lost count and still laugh remembering. Had more or less given up on sit-coms the last gazillion years cos they (mostly, with a few noteworthy exceptions) just werent very funny, lame plots, unlikeable characters. Anyway thanks for the news!

(10,749 posts)I just watched the series and, like many of its fans, regret that there are no plans at the moment for a series 4.
It is very charming, offbeat probably because it takes place in a time and place that most of us never experienced. The comedic timing is absolutely first rate, from the youngest actors to the older pros with scores and scores of credits.
