"Beef" on Netflix! It's called a "dramedy" in a review, and worth every moment, I believe.

I haven't watched a comedy in years, as reviews of them never sounded interesting enough, and comedy is so hard to make natural, and really hard to write, I'm sure.

The stars are Steven Yeun, and Ali Wong.

Here's a great review from Roger Ebert:

Not only is this the only comedy series or film, even, I have watched in years, it's also the only show I am going to watch right away, all over again, too! That's never happened for me!

I hope someone in the forum will give it a try, and that I haven't got insane and recommended an actual pathetic mess without realizing it!

(By the way, I have never taken the time to mention I appreciate and love this forum. Thank you. )

I'd call it a dark comedy, there aren't many laugh out loud moments. But worth the watch. Merlot Jun 2023 #5

After reading about the premise and watching a preview, I thought I wasn’t going to like it. But it’s very well written and acted. Looks like it could be a good one all the way through.
