Finally getting around to watching "Manifest". Wow!
My daughter told me about it and I put it in my queue a while back. Started it a week or two ago. What a compelling show. Good writing. Spellbinding story. I'm hooked!

(4,032 posts)I just couldn't stomach the whole god thing anymore. It gets much, much worse as the show goes along, to the point that I started feeling as if I'd been suckered by bait-and-switch religious programming. I'm *still* dying to know what happened to that plane, though. That story line is great.

(23,973 posts)I just finished Season 2. Maybe I won't watch any more. I'm an agnostic and can't really stomach a bunch of religious stuff.

(4,032 posts)I mean it's still worth watching ... until it sort of tips over. I'm uncomfortable with all that too. I'd much rather religion didn't take itself so seriously. More like Good Omens.
