"Three Days of the Condor" Prime
I never watched this film starring Robert Redford and Faye (always Bonnie Parker) Dunaway. I really enjoyed it. Some props were nostalgic. Early on was a pin printer like we used.
Then there was a scene in a hotel where the Redford character used a stolen butt set (telephone test set) plus to record touch tones.
Later he got into a major switching office tying a lot of customer lines together to throw the bad guy a real wrench in their works.
The plot was good and the attention to details about phone equipment made it work better for me.
It's not often films get technical stuff right.

(48,047 posts)at the end. It's when he is set on giving the information to a publication for mass exposure, and the guy replies something like, how can you be sure they'll print it?
This was before the internet, but that line gave me my first clue that there might come a time we couldn't rely on the newspapers to give us the information we need to keep us safe.
