No emmys for "Silo" this year

I'm disappointed. The best sci-fi series ever filmed (IMHO) should have been nominated for, and won, at least one of the following:

Outstanding Drama Series - 2024

Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series - 2024: Rebecca Ferguson

Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series - 2024: Tim Robbins.

Instead, "Silo" was nominated for only the following awards (but didn't win either of them):

Outstanding Main Title Design - 2024

Outstanding Music Composition For A Series (Original Dramatic Score) - 2024

But we'll have to.

Season 2 has been filmed, but nobody is saying when it will be released or who besides Ferguson is in the cast. Will the heroine ever get back into the silo from which she was exiled? Will she first get into some other silo? Are there tunnels joining the silos? How closely will season 2 and subsequent seasons follow the books?

Has anyone here read the books?
