The young earl in Lady Jane, the one who transformed into s horse, played a wonderful character in the three seasons of A Discovery of Witches, which remains a favorite of mine.

Reviews on IMBD says they really tampered it down.
It did seem that way. Because the lighting seemed too dark and there just seemed to be too much dialogue. Or something....
