Elementary on Prime

Just finished 7 season of Elementary starring Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu. In this incarnation, Sherlock is a recovering heroin addict and Watson is an ex-surgeon who becomes his sober companion. What a superb show on many levels - the acting, the writing, the adult vocabulary, and the criminal cases where you can learn.

The second part of this clip is amazing in its subject and delivery!

I thought I would hate it, but it's really great.

I love the sibling dynamic that Sherlock and Joan develop.

You're right, it is a good show. In my working life, I usually worked nights and evenings, so I didn't get much chance to watch TV shows. Enjoying it now.

from the cut throat, stab in the back, celebration of stupid that passes for entertainment now. I missed it during its first tv run too.

Thanks for your service - I didn't go but my cousin and brother-in-law did two tours each. My brother was going to be next but he did OK in the lottery.
