Downton Abbey on Amazon Prime.
My wife and I just finished binge watching the series earlier this week. We both felt sad watching the final episode as we knew the characters would soon no longer be in our lives. Which I would think says a great deal about the show and we both highly recommend it.

(38,159 posts)Burrows was often his own worst enemy but the emotional and physical pain he suffered allowed him in the end to acquire a different perspective towards life and he got the job as head butler. I was rooting for him during the entire series.

(16,331 posts)I was sad when it ended. However, it got me hooked on finding more British TV shows and downloading the app for Acorn TV. I've watched some pretty great TV that I would have overlooked if I hadn't started on Downton Abbey first. Well, there's also Call the Midwife. I think I was hesitant to watch anything British for a long time because years ago I found I couldn't catch a lot of what was being said because of the heavy British accent, but these shows are more understandable nowadays.
