I like britbox. It’s not great but it’s okay at the price. A lot of their offerings are older series which I generally skip.

I'm a bit disappointed that they only have the latest season of some shows instead of letting me start at the beginning.

But as it became more popular I guess their servers got overloaded, because most of their offerings barely played if they played at all. We ended up searching YouTube for many of the British shows. Their customer service pretty much blamed our computer which had no problem with Netflix etc.

I just got an email that the price is going up to $5.99/month in April. I think it's still a good deal. They also offer an annual price that is cheaper than paying monthly.

We have about 500 DVDs because streaming was not an option.

I love British television. There are great shows on both. On Acorn, I just finished binge watching all 6 seasons of A Place To Call Home. There were some parts where it dragged, but it was overall a great show. They have some great programs from Australia and New Zealand, including Jack Irish, which is epically good.

BritBox is worth every penny. Vera alone makes it worth it.

the movie, pretty much a B, Belonging, made in her somewhat younger years. Got a start at
her unVera physicality. Sure, I knew she wouldn’t be Vera in every other role, but I was still
struck by her transformation—voice, mannerisms, facial expressions, and the way she walks and carries herself.
Saw Homecoming. Enjoyed.

The ONLY reason we still put up with Frontier internet is no data caps. Cable or satellite choices have them.

We've been on Exede satellite for 5+ years which is expensive and had a 10 Gig monthly data cap. Exede became ViaSat. Brazos WIFI is on a tower directly opposite us and we have a great signal. It was just installed today.

Oh I used to work for Verizon Southwest which is now Frontier. I still have a concession on my landline. I think we will go with Brazos WIFI for the phone as well- 1/2 the price and no toll charges.
