PSA for opioid addicts (oxycodne warning)...

This is intended for people who are buying pills off the streets....

There was a man stopped recently here in Tennessee who had a bunch of roxi 30's on him for which he didn't have a pill bottle or prescription for. He was arrested for possession with the intent to distribute.

The pills were sent off to a lab for analysis and, even though they had the imprint A 215... which is a legitimate pharmaceutical brand... the lab analysis came back that they weren't oxycodone but instead were Fentanyl, which could have lead to a lot of cases of overdose. They ran a story about it in our local paper. If my memory serves correctly, it stated that Fentanyl is 50 times stronger than heroin. I know last summer they found 3 people dead on the same day, in 2 different locations, who had OD'ed from chewing on Fentanyl Transdermal Patches.

I know first-hand about oxycodone dependency/addiction. I was in pain management for about 4 1/2 years and was prescribed 6 roxi 30's per day. When I started becoming too tolerant on them, they had me on two 40 mg oxymorphones (generic Opana) per day with 2 roxi 15's for breakthrough pain. When I became tolerant on them... the oxymorphone was extended release and supposed to last 12 hours, but got to where they were only lasting 7 - 8 hours... I decided it was time to call it quits and got off of them.

Everyone please be careful and warn your friends or loved ones if they are addicts, you could be saving a life. I don't know how widespread this is, or if it was just a one time fluke, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Peace,

Ghost

I didn't think about doing a search in other papers as it's a pretty small town where these were found.

Thanks again, and Peace...

for anyone else to have to experience it, especially by being "dosed" by something that they are used to taking and it turns out to be some fake, deadly shit. Back in my younger days... 25 - 30 years ago, I actually HURT a few people who had dosed someone without their knowledge or consent. I once caught a guy slipping "roofies" into a female friend of mine's drink. All I will say is that if the bouncers hadn't intervened, he wouldn't be on this earth amongst us anymore, and I would probably be sitting in a prison cell right now. I **LOATHE** the creature who would do that to a female, or even another male. Rapists and pedophiles are the top 2 on my list that, if it were legal, even for 24 hours like "The Purge", I would take out as many as I could. I am SO very glad that it's not, nor will it ever be, legal to do so!

If this post potentially saved even one life, it was totally worth posting to me...

Peace,

Ghost
