(12,904 posts)As a non-drinking female who hangs around with a bunch of drinkers, I promise youll hear some funny stuff. Just last night, I got three I love yous, and one of the ladies tried to kiss me! I had to go home early because I got tired of laughing.
Theyre so funny, but the I love you, man people are the best!

(10,486 posts)Typically as the night goes on and folks get more animated, I begin to get bored, annoyed, and end up leaving. Not just St Paddy's day either. Generally speaking.

(222,072 posts)I'm bringing dessert. Many of us are long time sober, one woman has 35 years, but this is a way to celebrate that, and it's just a nice evening among friends.
