Headed to bed. No big binges. No purging. A little uncomfortable about probably being over on

calories, but I will live. Can’t make the same guarantee about climbing back into my hamster wheel, so I made the better choice. A good day deserves a good night’s sleep. No guilt, shame, or frantic fear.

went on a carb spree. I gained half the weight i lost back. Now i'm losing again. I do have Ensure for when i need a meal replacement or for when i get a cold that seems covidlike. Taking vitamins. And zinc lozenges that are supposed to stop covid. Relax. You were over a bit today. You'll be back tomorrow eating right and being healthy.

All I eat are carbs. Vegetables and some treats like dairy free ice cream sandwiches and dairy/egg free cookies (not healthy, but since everything else I eat is healthy, it works for me).

Sugar is more addictive than smoking. There is a book called The Pleasure Trap that explains why we make poor decisions regarding our health and nutrition. See below link, but you could probably find the paperback version somewhere.

I binged and purged and I thought I was "getting away" with it. I had a normal weight and sometimes, underweight. Then I went for a regular check-up and was diagnosed with fatty liver because of all the sugar I was consuming (that I falsely thought) I was purging away. I was scared crapless! I was so frightened that I immediately stopped the behavior. I was scared about the calories, but I was more frighted of liver disease.

For our physical and psychological well being, being uncomfortable with the calories for a while, until your new behavior, healthier behavior becomes the new norm is well worth it. Sleep well and day at a time.
