To anyone new to recovery, it really does get better! Trust me.

I've only been sober for a couple years. And I occasionally have urges, especially on weekends while cooking dinner. But the urges seem to be going away. It was a lot worse when I first gave up drinking. So hang in there. If I can do it, you can too!

My son is an addict who has been clean for over a year, he finally realized he'd never have a life if he stayed on drugs I know how hard the struggle can be and wish you all the best in your personal version of life improvement.

Only 9 months sober, but already way easier then it was, but good lord help that this day goes the right direction

It only took a few years and was thinking nobody does coke anymore.
Got busy working, going back to college and staying away from those wet places and wet faces. Hang in there it gets better, way better.

My son is clean almost 5 years now. He had to move far away (PA to FL) to get away from the people here that kept getting him back in the life. There he met his soon-to-be wife, got a great job and they’re buying a house. Every day you put it that much further behind you.
