Related: About this forumThings I am grateful for on 6 September 2024, in no particular order
Safe to drink cold & hot running water & flush toilets.
Cats are well, they got enough food & litter for a few weeks at least.
I got food in the fridge. The fridge & water tank are running b/c I had enough money & was clear enough to remember to pay the bills. The cell phone bill is paid as well.
My dear friend did well after her salvage lung cancer surgery.
Another friends' post knee surgery is going well, we are in that age group where "organ recitals" of health are becoming part of our life as very old friends.
My vacuum cleaner is working really well today.
Todays non gratitude statement is that I am sugar craving, I realize it is a transfer of obsession/addiction, bur boy is it annoying.
Another gratitude is that DU exists, that Earl, Elad and you all here on this journey.
I am clean and sober woman today
I am a richly blessed woman

(34,265 posts)She & I cleaned out the apartments in the complex where we lived in HS years, she went on to build a business. As a sister, she has 'opinions'.
I will leave the fingerprints on the door jambs to 'give' her something to do & fuss over.
This is a soft form of sister battle tactics in real life.
