Want to share a resource

Last edited Thu Dec 29, 2011, 11:17 AM - Edit history (1)

I have breast cancer, stage IV. When I found out I went looking for info, the best place turned out to be http://www.breastcancer.org/
The women on this board are wonderful, helpful, loving and going through everything I am and worse. For those who do not have breast cancer you will find a world of other info.

For example one man, a caretaker, has offered his services helping people under Social Security questions. He is an attorney who devotes 100% of his practice to representing individuals who have been denied disability by the SSA. His wife asked him to help out the ladies on the board. Just reading through this thread I have learned so much, the man is simply wonderful to do this at the request of his wife so others can get the help they need.

Every day I log into this board and learn something new.

I found out about it almost 6 years ago when I was diagnosed with bc, and it has been a weath of information and sharing with people that are in the same condition as me, or worse. It's been quite a journey, and this website has been awesome.
