Cisplatin and hearing loss: After two rounds of chemo, I have a loss of hearing in

the high frequency range.

1. Should I expect to lose hearing in this range completely as the chemo continues?

2. Should i expect hearing damage in the lower frequencies?

In other words, is this the damage I'll have, or is there more to come?

and she hasn't experienced that as yet. Her oncologist has asked her to watch for it though. On the other hand, she has blisters on her fingertips, her feet, both soles and sides of them, extreme tiredness, a gin blossom nose, irritability, and the lack of wanting to eat. that's just this time around (second round of "just in case" chemo) She's on a 21 day cycle,

So I guess we'll just wait and see what goes on next.

Good luck and great thoughts as you progress. We are with you.
