I had nose surgery and had to have a skin graft. The doctor tells me if the graft ever

tans, it will turn dark brown and be darker than the rest of my face.

Believe me, I have NO desire whatsoever to get a tan after this.

But is it true what they're telling me?

Otherwise, I have no idea.

Getting a tan is not really a good idea anyhow. Skin cancers are not usually dangerous, but they can be. Melanoma is dangerous.

Seems to me it will be hard to avoid getting sun on a nose....

My first thought would be ...makeup. Lots of good makeup out there.
