2nd round of chemo today

The onc switched Carol over to a -once a week, 12 week cycle-, still using Taxol. Should be easier on her. We'll see. She sailed thru the infusion, came home, ate a few bites and went to sleep. She'll go in for a paracentesis Thursday to remove some of the excess fluid she is carrying in her abdomen, and she'll be getting some lasics on top of the diuretics to help remove the rest of it.

On the bright side, her liver counts have mostly returned to normal range, her platelet count was 136,000 today, and her bilirubin numbers were good. So, overall, things went pretty good today.

Met an old friend from the seventies in the chemo room. His wife was in there for treatment, too, so we had a good long conversation.
