Today was audiology and head and neck. Fun and frivolity.

They decided against antibiotics for the ear. That's good, but Monday I get a tube inserted in my eardrum to drain the liquid so I can hear again.

Today I ate nearly a half a won ton. It was gooooood! The meat tasted like liver, but I like liver. Mostly I drank the broth. It was like watered down schmaltz. Yum

They also did the eply maneuver on me for my vertigo.

Wednesday the 10th I get a PET scan.

I am still weak and wobbly, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel. The PET scan will inform me whether it is the sun or an on coming train.

I tried oatmeal. That was a bust. alfredo Aug 2016 #2
You are so lucky if that maneuver kicked your vertigo to the curb Ms. Toad Aug 2016 #3
It seems to be OK. I will have to sleep with my heat elevated for one more night. alfredo Aug 2016 #4

Won ton soup is a cherished memory of food that tasted good to me before most other food.

Especially the broth.

Let us know how the scan goes!

I had vertigo for 11 months (not the rocks in the ear kind). Debilitating. I'm still occasionally a little off-balance, but at least the sensation that accompanied it for so long is gone.

Hope that's all it took for you - and that the PET scan is clean!

I am not supposed to look down or up, which is impossible if you want to tie your shoes, clean the toilet, or reach for a glass in the cabinet. (Not in that order)
