Related: About this forumThird Remission of Lymphoma
I got the results from my PET scan this week.
I have been in remission for almost 6 months.
I have been living with lymphoma for over 30+ years.
First remission was 13+ years; second remissions was 16+ years; this is my third remissions.
I have NOT forgotten that (TFG) wanted to repeal the ACA and I would have lost my life time limit and pre-existing protections. Before this last remission, my physicians tried 4 different type of treatments and all failed to varying degrees.
Thank all for those at DU who have given me well wishes in the past.

(609 posts)I am so sorry to hear about your news about your husband.
I am very happy to share with you what worked.
Monjuvi and Revlimid
Monjuvi is an infusion given once every 2 weeks.
Revlimid is a pill that you take at home.
My doctor is stopping Revlimid because I have been taken it for a year.
He will continue Monjuvi for the foreseeable future.
I knew that the treatment was working before I even had a PET scan.
I could not walk without a walker but gradually I stopped using the walker.
This was helpful to me in deciding on treatments.

It lists all of the types of immunotherapies available to non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
I also created a subscription through Google News because they are developing new treatments for lymphoma.
I wish you all the best.

(609 posts)Thanks everyone for the well wishes.
Also, I sent a thank you note to President Obama on his website.
May not get a response.
But cancer care costs money and I would not have got my remission without the ACA and its protection against pre-existing conditions and life time limits.
