phew. biopsy results.

well, it is melanoma but we caught it very, very early. it isnt even stage 1. it’s in situ. not even worried it’s reach the lymph nodes. no radiation.
doing the growth on the eyelids tomorrow and hoping we can get it taken care of them. otherwise very soon.
they’re good about scheduling quickly when needed.

but phew.

eta- i posted this then had shit to do. all i can say is- 😭😍😘

I know what a relief that has to have been. I recently had a prostate biopsy, also with negative results. But the wait for the results was an anxious one.
Congrats on catching it early !!!

Malignant melanoma is scary stuff. Really glad to hear you caught it so early!

My husband had a skin cancer removed recently. Luckily for him, it was a basal cell carcinoma, the most common and least dangerous kind. Still, just hearing the "C" word in the diagnosis was enough to give me the willies.

Wishing you the best of luck with your treatment. Hope you are soon cancer free and stay that way!

i knew i had caught it early, but i wasnt expecting- this only barely counts as cancer. not even stage 1a.
and it was only 1 of 2 biopsies. the other was nothing. scar tissue.
