Boy! that was dumb! For about 6 months now, I've had occasional bouts of

vertigo when I am lying down or when I tilt my head back. I'm sick of seeing doctors, and don't want to go through another round of tests, so I've adapted by being careful not to climb on ladders and sitting briefly before getting out of bed, etc. So today, I stood in the bathroom, tilted my head back to put my eye drops in, and came crashing down face forward. I may end up with a bruise on my cheek bone that will embarrass the hell out of my husband (No, really, she fell in the bathroom!), but I got away very light for doing something so stupid!

It beats kissing the floor every time you move your head back, and that is likely to get worse, not better.

The first time an Epley maneuver is done, it has to be done by a physician because not everyone reacts the same way.

I have two balance issues. One is a poor nerve connection from the ear to the brain. Phys therapy helps that. The other is intermittent and migraine related, so probably not what you have.
