but I will give it a shot if I'm eligible to access it through a doctor once the laws in NYS are enacted and I can find a doctor to give me a prescription. I will not be allowed to smoke it though since NY has not included that in the law. Which IMO is pretty stupid since that is the cheapest way to do so.

I'm not taking anything either but I do have increased pain and having a very bad time sleeping. I hope that vaping or whatever will help when that time comes. I know it is gross to write about, but I must say does feel great to go to the bathroom with ease once again. Who would thought I would get such enjoyment from a bowel movement. I live in the 19th century state of fucking florida. We just voted down medical marijuana.

I have had gastritis for years with my main symptom being pain in my upper stomach. I had just read somewhere where pot may help this situation. And now the neanderthals say, "NO"

Plus because of the pain and my inability to take otc pain meds because they CAUSE the pain I take narcotics. And yes I have the constipation which makes the initial problem with my stomach worse. I get so frustrated.

Then I find out from the pharmacist that the government decides how much of certain pain pills they will allow to be sold to the store, which is why my doctor called 10 different pharmacies trying to get a certain drug, (a strong one I'm sure) for an elderly man with 6 different types of cancer because his caretaker couldn't get them for him. And that even didn't work. They were going to the grocery store pharmacy when they left the office. And that is where I am going to have to go for my script too.

I feel like taking a trip to a state with medical marijuana and just trying it. If it works I'd try and figure something out.

I was not a big fan of the amendment as it was written. I am in favor of completely legalized cannabis. I want to be able to grow it, carry it, smoke it on my back porch, and help others who may be suffering.

I'm not saying that cannabis cures everything, but it sure does break up the monotony of taking narcotics and other meds that mess up your system.

I have liver disease (from years of taking handfuls of ibuprofen) so I can no longer take any OTC pain meds and I absolutely hate opiates. I had my shoulder rebuilt a few years ago and had to spend 3 months in a pain pill stoned stupor.

And as far as the 'you just want to get high' argument goes, sure sometimes you do want to enjoy a buzz for a break. I've got a couple of debilitating diseases and suffer from other crap every now and then, so yes, a buzz is a nice thing.

I live in the north part of the state and take trips monthly to the center of the state, what part to you live in? There are people who are helping sick people all over the state even though it may not be completely kosher as far as the laws are currently written. Feel free to PM if you like.
