Sharing this here...Annual post

Found out I had diabetes, saw my grandparents go down with it and my folks. Decided to get a treadmill, ( I'm on #4...never buy a cheap one...Started walking in earnest today, in 2014....

Got a fitbit...6 years later here's my stats..

Steps | 36,567,868

Floors | 7,851

Distance | 15,914.99 mi

Come on, DU! Let's go for a walk!!

I do 35 miles each morning on the exercise bike and shoot for 20K steps per day. 14,691 so far today.

I use the tread mill once in awhile, but I find the bike easier. I have a spot for the iPad to spend time on DU and a nice shelf next to it for my coffee. All the creature comforts.

I agree about needing a quality tread mill. We went thru two before this current one.

Are you walking on it or jogging or doing intervals ("wind sprints&quot ?

accuracy, and I'd like to know what veteran walkers use. (I see that one of you uses a fitbit.) I walk nearly every day but would like to start counting steps. Thanks in advance, everyone!
