Yeah me! I just did my first marathon! (of course it was 4.4 miles daily X 6 days) LOL

But, hey. I covered the distance, right?

Seriously, I have FINALLY resumed my walking program in earnest. Determined to do 10K walks (which for me is 4.4 miles) daily each morning for at least the next 30 days to make a habit of it. My route has some hills (and I'm out of shape), so I'm feeling it.

I used to be a hell of a walker (6-9 miles daily) years ago until I just.... quit. So, I'm starting back with many many extra pounds slowing me down, but DETERMINED.

Thank Gawd for ipods... both a stepcounter, pedometer, and music player in one little 2x2 inch little (nano) package. How much easier things have gotten (except for the actual walking, of course).
