I go to the gym regularly, usually 5 days/week. My main focus in the gym is resistance exercises (free weights and machines), and ride a bicycle on the road for cardio work.

I can relate to the "old bones", mine are 70.

There are probably many activities, organized or individual, at a good gym. Talk to member services and see what the offer that appeals to you.

maybe work on our cardio and stamina. We are not looking to beef up or lose weight, we are both satisfied with our size.

be considered prudent to consult your health care provider and/or a qualified dietitian and have them provide a long range nourishment plan.

"Diets" with names (or are experiencing a popularity swell) is not necessarily the best plan for overall good health, especially as one ages.

and I did check with my physician about this particular "diet" before starting it. He OKed it. What I like most about it is that the food preparation is simple and I actually like the food choices. Also, since I prepare most of the family meals, no one is complaining that they are having to eat "diet" food.
