A miracle recovery from Schizophrenia

Last edited Thu Jul 19, 2012, 02:19 PM - Edit history (1)

A close friend of mine came down with terrible schizophrenia thirty years ago and has been spending all of these years walled up in his parents basement.

Two nights ago stopped by and found someone whose new medication has brought back a complete recovery.

He is not 100% and appears much like a stroke victim, slow and labored but it is a miracle improvement.

A lot of people don't know about the advances made in psychiatric medication, especially with the newer atypical anti-psychotics.

words.

To the family and the victim it seems as if a life that was lost was regained, a scientific miracle if you will.

Luck of the draw, hit or miss, with most psych drugs. What works on one person doesn't work for another. I find it very interesting. Too bad there is not some type of test to help assess what meds work with whose chemical balance.

A very good friend of mine suffered from schizophrenia, but got some very good treatment in the form of therapy and medication, and is doing well now!
