(3,556 posts)On the serious side, I think I'll feel better when the holidays are over. Husband and I caught a bug and were sick over Christmas. Doing better now, but my hubby has COPD, on oxygen 24/7, and it has been hard for him to bounce back. In the back of my mind I wonder if this will be the last Christmas we spend together. Sigh, life is so hard sometimes.

(6,213 posts)Although I am glad that it entertained some people. I felt that it really encapsulates my very life these days. I mean, yes, the water is flowing and it is draining into the drain as it is supposed to do, but does that really mean I am 'okay'? I understand that a lot of people have issues in their lives, but I honestly do not see others looking as bad as this. Is this what my life has meant all these decades? That I could 'function' but never experience anything like a fully built and working sink could? I have to say, the room is also a great metaphor for this picture. It also looks rather functional, but not much more than that.
