Feeling down

I hope everyone in here is okay, coping, and doing well.

I had a lovely day yesterday at the arboretum and lunch with my cousin, whom I'm close to. She's about 1.5 away. The weather was perfect

Mr X is having his monthly pain-medication crash, and doesn't feel well. I worry about him.
Just feeling a bit down today.

Peace

Bc of laws, so he really doesn't have enough for the whole month, so he "crashes", my term, at the end.

I'm feeling more anxious than down. My MO.

Happy New Year! I hope I get to stay home tomorrow night. I am being strong-armed into going to a neighbor's tonight. I'm home alone with my animals - husband made it over to his mom's who is in assisted living and was spiralling, but has revived since her baby son arrived!

I'm surprised I don't mind my own company too much!

Well, and the critters. 🙂

Oh - and you all!

I'm in the same boat. My meds are due to be filled tomorrow (I hope) or on Sunday. With all these new regs, who knows how many hassles and hoops we'll have to jump through this month? It's a never ending monthly ramp up anxiety, whether or not you can make your pills last the month or not.

I got close, even with Xmas preparation. Made it just 3 days shy. But between my back and my fibromyalgia/lupus, I'm really hanging on by fingernails. The pain is bad enough; the anxiety of what they're going to put you through at the pharmacy makes it even worse. I can't even go myself, anymore. Hubby does it for me. If I went, I'd end up in jail for what I'd do at the counter! Those are some of the dumbest people I've ever run into. My friend last two weeks there before she quit, it was such a mess.

Tell Mr. he's not alone and I'm sending him (and you) good vibes, and best wishes for a good new year!

I'm so sorry, and we "get it". He cannot get enough to last the full month. So, here we are, crashing and burning again.

You're treated like a criminal. He gets his Rxes at Publix, and they're pretty good. But every month, it's nerve-wracking. Same with my Xanax.

Oddly, his pain management doctor is implementing a holistic care model. I think it has something to do with Medicare payments.

And the sky is still there... and beautiful.

Breathe deep, this too shall pass.

Do something kindly for yourself. Make a cup of tea and sit where you can see something beautiful.

But most of all, you are not alone.

Reach in, and find the parts of yourself that come from the people who love you.

diffidently,
Bright
