Ugh. 2nd appt in a week, and back to back. VERY stressful

Yesterday was with my therapist. That I looked forward to. He is such a kind man.

Today is a follow up medical appointment with the THIRD hcp in 6 months. My original one retired. She was an APN and I was beginning to trust her. The next one is an MD. Too early to tell with her but she is nice. AND on a leave of absence!!! So now I'm seeing a NP (I think she's an NP). I am going to let her know that when you have the degree of redlining medical anxiety that I endure, this isn't a good situation. It's just for a blood pressure check so I see no reason why future such appointments can't just be 'remote' visits.

I'm a wreck and about to take my anxiety medication, hoping it will make even the slightest dent.

This has been a major topic of discussion with my therapist. I've given him permission to share our sessions with my medical provider so I wonder if he sent something, last night.

When I get home I will be heading straight to bed because this absolutely drains me.

And I'm not good. I want to send you the emoji with all the hugs. I am right there with you, sweetie.

Hoping a kitty pile up on your lap will make it a bit better.

You may not believe it works, but no harm in trying it. Right? Also, another simple mood enhancer is to go look in the mirror and smile at yourself. Just keep looking and smiling. Before long you will be genuinely smiling or laughing.

We want the best for you, Siwsan. You are an important member of this communuty and the ultimate angel goddess to all of those precious kitties.

Hang in there. You're going through a temporary bump in the road
