Anxiety and the approaching new year.

The final few days of the calendar year fill me with a combination of dread and anxiety, no matter what there may be to look forward to. Does anyone else experience the same emotions? How do you cope with them?

I WILL listen to Harry Litman and Glenn Kirschner and friends, and I check out left-leaniing clairvoyants, tarot readers and astrologers who I've followed over many years and who have proven to be on the money 80+ % of the time -- their message is hopeful and positive.

(Don't even bother replying that you don't "believe" in this stuff -- as Nick Campion (astrologer) said: it's not a belief system, it's a phenomenon.)

That's how I've been holding on to my sanity and hope during the reign of orange terror, since you asked.

ontop of things yet it so so bad for those of us with anxiety.
You can say don’t turn on the news and then next thing ya know you have no idea of what’s going on.
So then you read the news and you feel sometimes even worse from the comments.
Let’s face it media has trump as the front runner.
It’s hard not to have anxiety!
It’s really so much worse than the Bush/Cheney years and I thought I’d never live through that!

I try to lose myself in things like books, movies, jig saw puzzles and my kidcats. I've even cut WAY back on watching MSNBC. Still, it's like there's a big fat, dark orange cloud, full of filth, hanging in the horizon.

I have to stop thinking about this because I can feel an anxiety attack coming on. I guess that means I'm not coping, at all.
