I understand White coat syndrome. My partner has it. It's especially frustrating because we have chronic illnesses and doctors are stupid when it comes to that.

I'm hoping that it's something easy and all they have to do is give you some Gas-X or something hang in there...
Please consider taking a friend or someone with you to hold your hand so you're not alone.

I always announce it. Sometimes they understand and sometimes they will redo BP as if it will magically change. They hate to have a patient with that kind of number in their chart.
