Friends' quest update

Someone on Reddit, not being xxx, pointed me to a FB I joined and was approved the next day. I posted my bio spiel (have it down pat now) and got about 15 responses of similar women near me. Just PMing one about our cats.

Feeling overwhelmed and depressed today. I was literally making housing-situation decisions predicated on staying his patient. I asked him several yrs ago about his retirement, and he responded as if that was a long, long way off and not to worry about it.

(Between us, we may end up having some plain bread and water thanks to gastro-intestinal issues, but it will still be lunch dammit!)

… will help you transition to a new psychiatrist when the time comes? By that I mean he could refer you to someone and you could see if you liked them before you officially become their patient. Or, is it hard to find a psychiatrist in your area? It is where I live.

I’ve been seeing my psychiatrist monthly for over ten years … I’m bipolar and depend on him to help keep my moods even. I understand your feeling of panic.
