The tide has turned and this new NP is wonderful!

I started the appointment by letting him know how unhappy I've been with the last provider I saw, in complete detail. He listened AND he heard me. He also totally understands the dynamics of anxiety.

Good sense of humor, easy to talk to, explains things without being confrontational like the last one I saw. I felt completely at ease with him. He asked if he could take my BP again, just before I left and it was GOLDEN. Just perfect. Then he walked with me to the appointment desk.

This is a big relief.

Try to keep in mind it's up to YOU to keep your BP under control.

Trust me, nobody else would care if you had a heart attack or stroke, certainly not the jerks causing you so much distress.

Flip those kinds of people the one=finger salute, at least in your mind, and keep your BP under control.

I didn’t get online until after 1 pm today. Saw your earlier post and decided I might as well wait for an update before commenting. This is wonderful news!

The last provider you had at Oak Street sounded like a nightmare. In my opinion, she was a disgrace to her profession and should not be allowed anywhere near any patients, but at least you won't have to put up with her anymore!

New guy sounds lovely, and I know you must feel vastly relieved. I know the next 6.5 weeks (approximately) are going to be an anxious time, but your DU friends will always be here for support!
