I've always thought of bigotry as just extreme narrow-mindedness, and that certainly describes the low level of tolerance on the issue of mental health we have seen here in the past. I never really thought about it in terms of how a lot of people here view those with radically different political beliefs. Conservatives are simply WRONG, dammit!

With respect to mental illness, DU has changed. There is more to do but it's very encouraging that our community is willing to try on new ideas and to show support for people who get damn little of it anywhere.

You've had a lot to do with that, Tobin. Thank you!
