Got a bonus check and a raise at work on Saturday. Now my wife and I have been having a mellow time with her relatives the past couple of days. Just been taking it easy. We celebrate with my folks next weekend. That stressed my wife out last year, but she was new then and I think this year will be better for her.

we battled well yesterday - immediate environment was good (both daughters in good form, our recovering anorexic had as good a day as we've seen her have in many years. She and her sister also interacted well - we could honestly say our day was "normally Christmas", whatever that is!).

Around us, the conflict with my brother over my mom raged on - he still will not speak to me (long story, but he is allowing a recent incident to drag every perceived wrong done to him his whole life to be aimed squarely at me to fix)....and my wife's mom had to go to the hospital for a presumed stroke, now felt to be possible, sudden onset of some senility symptoms....

Good vibes from me also to all - it can be a tough day to get through.

i've no issues personally, but my relationship with my 21 year old bipolar son has been trying....especially since he refuses to even acknowledge that he's BP, even though his father has it too.

no depression since i began medicating years ago works quite nicely for me.

happy holidays!
