and I said so in the meta thread. I really hope we can get this off the ground. I think we have enough sponsors.

I'm really not sure what is required to go forward...how a petition gets to admin, how many pledges of support etc, and I don't know if a star member needs to move it forward.

But it also used to be that only star members could post in a group. Since that's changed, maybe the rules have also changed for starting a group. I don't know. I can't find the guidelines on the site.

If we need ten star members, it looks like we have nine in the meta thread. If not, then we have more than ten members signing off on the creation of the new group.

However it goes, when we think we have enough people sponsoring the group, I think we're supposed to contact the admin with a link to the thread showing as much. They then create the group. That's the way it used to go. I see you have a thread up in the Help forum. We'll see what they say.

I think all we have to do is submit the thread to the admin and we're in, but I'll wait to hear back on your help thread.

Thanks HereSince1628 for continuing to advocate for such a group.
It is long overdue for the DU.

produce mental symptoms?

I am sort of betwixt and between with MS. The neurologists don't really understand the mental side and MHMR say they do not handle organic causes. Plus I don't really know where I fit in.

Any how, count me in.

and be open to posts re all related fields and intersections with society.

If we can get the group launched, the character it acquires will sort of be up to the users who post in it.
