I'm at work trying not to let my anxiety get the best of me. Counting down the hours until I get off. 3:00 can't come soon enough.

My life was a living hell for ten straight years up until I was 30. I'm 42 now, and I've had my share of problems since then, but nothing compared to what I was going through when I was suffering from symptoms.

After I was diagnosed, I started drug therapy and went to talk therapy as well for a while. I've done battle with my demons and laid them to rest. However, I'm still left with the physical part of bipolar disorder. That part will always be with me no matter what I do, so I will continue to take medication for the rest of my life.

For a lot of people, if they can get the right meds at the right dosages, it can make a mental health problem pretty much disappear, with the only reminder of the problem being your pill box. I'm one of those fortunate people that meds work very well for.

My vitamin D levels had gotten "dangerously low" over the winter. One of the side effects was the winter blues and my anxiety was through the roof. Been on supplements, blood monitored regularly, a trip to Key West and Las Vegas have all helped immensely. Starting to feel back to my normal, which is still high anxiety, but manageable.

Glad you are at a 7. That is a pretty good number, especially for a Monday!

It's way hard to talk but I appreciate your offer.

Hopefully this summer we'll get together again and catch up in person.

love to you both.
