Haven't been taking my meds.

Being so caught up in the world of politics, job hunting and this super cool video game I can't walk away from has rendered me irresponsible.

I don't even know how many days i've skipped.

All I know is that now I just rejected an already accepted and full vetted job offer for something that pays better and I'm thoroughly destroying myself because of my low confidence to believe I had made the right decision in doing so.

So, I turned down the job I didn't really want, accepted the one I wanted but now I have to go through the whole background check and drug testing thing again. I passed the last one's background check, but... Now I feel like I'm doing it all over again and there's no certainty that anything will work out. Everything is fluid and I'm losing my mind.

I want to sleep and never wake up.

It was in the poultry industry. But the people were nice, the benefits were good. The pay was the same as my former employer. The risks were low. But the morality, the guilt of being apart of it.

Even politically so, the company was born from Pfizer. I just, kept hearing more and more bad about it.

This new one however is born from Switzerland, and is a Biomedical Technologies company that develops the lab equipment to test DNA and test blood for HIV/AIDS. It pays more but it's salary based and as such, there's no such thing as overtime. That's fine to me since the pay is higher though...

Despite making all these decisions, I keep hearing an echoing, "YOU IDIOT, all the vetting for the first job was done! You had a start date and everything. Now you've gotta get vetted by this new one and wait all over again!"

So that's what I'm dealing with right now.

That's contingent upon the background check and drug test of which I had ALREADY been approved by the other one so I know I'm being illogical but not only am I hopeful but I'm always in the mindset of "Anything could happen!" whether that be good OR bad....

One of the things about mental illness is that it is very dramatic when you are in the throes of your symptoms. Treat the symptoms and a lot of that drama disappears. It sounds to me like you really haven't made a bad mistake. It's probably going to be okay.

If you're supposed to take them once a day in the morning then you should. If you take them once in the morning and once in the evening, you might want to take that evening dose. Take them like your doctor has prescribed them.

It will tell you what to do if you skip a dose. You need to get back on schedule as soon as possible. You might consider getting one of those daily pill boxes. That's what I use, so I can tell for sure if I've forgotten to take one of my prescriptions. They're inexpensive, sell them right by the pharmacy. Please get back on your meds and feel better soon...

I had a week where there was a big mess up with insurance and went without. My mood went really wonky - got kinda manic. Then you get to a point where you don't think you need them anymore..

Take care of your mental health.

But I do take supplements, one I recently have started taking is GABA, I found it helps with Anxiety. GABA is an immuno-acid produced in the brain that regulates impulse control. Funny enough, some studies have shown that people on the Autism Spectrum(which I am)can have a GABA deficiency.

If you have anxiety try it. I don't know if it would work for you but I found it has helped me a lot.
