If you ever need anything, know you can reach out to many of us here. The demons will always be there, but they don't have to always win!

Sorry 'bout the physical pain, though. Hope a hangover doesn't add to that!

I was serious about coming to you if needed. A way would have been found...

Hugs!

You're a good guy. I'm old enough to be your father but I consider myself your friend.

Just never, ever give in to the demons.

Booze is not good for anyone beyond a drink or two. I think people with mental health issues should totally abstain. I'm a teetotaler. It took a long time for me to get to this point, though. But when the time came the habit just fell away with ease. I hope the time for your sobriety is ripe.

I fully know the repurcussions of mixing alcohol with bipolar disorder, but after having one, feeling better, I went ahead and had the rest.

My night ended with myself pretending to be tarzan from a pull up bar. The pull up bar gave way when I ran down the hall and leapt to grasp it, and I came down fast on a baby gate that we use to corral our dogs.

The gate broke my fall, and I broke the gate. Snapped solid wood into pieces. The point of impact was fully on the back of my shoulder blades and neck. When my head slammed on the floor, all I could do was lay there and moan as my head spun and spun.

Today, I realized I could have taken the impact directly to the neck and died.

Also, I'm very, very sore and had to call in sick to work.

Hopefully, I've learned my lesson.

I had to stop even having one drink once in awhile when I noticed that even if I stop at one (which is hard, because that drink wants another drink...etc.) I feel down the next day. No hangover. Just down.

Not worth it.

Hugs.
