Weight Loss/Maintenance

I'm down from 360 to almost 220, but I'm a pretty big load even slimmed down. I wasn't that fat for all that long either, but I'm 59. I played football my senior year in high school at 215. At 6'1", I think about 200 could be the lightest I could get.
My morning walk and resistance training every morning now goes about an hour and a half. I have these saggy little moobs left, but I'm working my back and chest hard to build up a little. It's just now looking like those will go away with a few more pounds off. Then the next concern is the fat I have hanging off my ass. I hope I don't end up with mud flaps!

Being in quarentine ive done nothing but eat.

(8,811 posts)That is great to hear. I was a multi sport athlete in High School and played 1 year of college football before transfering colleges. I have gone back and forth across 300 lbs and need to get and stay under by a lot.
Good for you and thank you for pushing me to be better.

I always scoffed at the home gym guys, thinking I had to have all the machines and equipment. I only started this way because I couldn't afford my favorite gym. This is about the third time I worked myself into shape, but had by far the longest way to go. They always said the hardest part of working out was fighting your way in the door at the gym. I really like that my workout starts by just going out the door. No travel time to the gym, even though it's not far. Still, coming and going takes as much time as half of my walk.
I'm now off 3 meds for BP and blood thinners. My cholesterol meds got cut in half and in a few months they will evaluate if I'm done with that too. I hope to be down to just the precautionary baby aspirin.
